Removing the Battery Protector

When you first receive your new toy it will have a battery protector inserted (so it doesn’t turn on during shipping).
To remove this simply twist the bottom counter clockwise until it comes loose.
Remove the black handle cover.
Yank out the tab.
Re-assemble.

Removing the Silicone

Although it may seem like magic, the silicone isn’t actually stuck to the handle! We made it this way for easy cleaning! The silicone is actually suctioned on to a thin acrylic core. To remove follow the steps below.

Step 1: Peel/lift up the silicone where it meets the handle.

Step 2: GENTLY twist and pull away from the handle. Keep in mind it is suctioned on, so don’t force it. Let it slide off bit by bit. If it gets stuck lift the silicone away from the core some more. Be careful not to squeeze, if you do you’ll be trying to twist the acrylic core and that’s stuck.

Step 3: Once the silicone is removed it is 100% waterproof. You can boil it or wash it with warm soapy water.

Step 4: LET IT DRY! Seriously. Let it dry! If there is any water residue left inside before you slide it back on it will not suction. So if you find it slipping off it’s probably because there is water still inside.
